I am a data science master’s student at the University of Salzburg and a junior researcher at FH Salzburg. My work sits where reinforcement learning meets system identification — teaching agents to decide which experiment is worth running next.

Research
My master’s thesis brings reinforcement learning to optimal experiment design for system identification: rather than fixing an excitation signal in advance, an agent learns which measurements will most reduce uncertainty about a system’s parameters. I work with the IDA Lab and Simon Hirländer, and on the ISIA project at FH Salzburg.
Projects
CIRCArt
A browser game about art history. You are shown a masterpiece and have to place it in the correct spot on a timeline — with bonus points for naming the artist, the title or the exact year.
Handball Tracker
A match and training tracker for handball teams, running on a Raspberry Pi with a web interface and messaging integration. Currently in development.
